A publication bearing the name Pure Land Notes has been with us here in the UK since the mid-1970's. Over time it evolved from a simple A4 newsletter into a full colour 20xA5 page hard-copy journal, published quarterly as Pure Land Notes; journal of the Shin Buddhist Fellowship UK. Over this time a lot of things changed - not least the establishment of the world-wide web and the advent of smartphones. Accordingly, Pure Land Notes now appears as a WEBLOG - optimised to look good on smartphones, laptops and consoles. Another big difference is that this latest manifestation of PLN is provided free of charge - whereas all previous versions were subject to an annual subscription charge. A page showing an alternative version of the content shown below can be seen as a listed page @ https://www.shinbuddhistfellowship.uk/. it appears here under its own domain name of www.purelandnotes.com. This version is a streamlined copy of the one found @ https://www.shinbuddhistfellowship.uk/, which is laid out in descending order. This crisp and clean fast-loading version is laid out in acceding order. |
